Aiur has fallen to the Zerg Swarms, but with the shattered Zerg hive torn apart by fierce in-fighting it is but a hollow victory. Kerrigan, Queen of Blades has control of a small number of tribes and seeks to unify the Zerg together. With the arrival of the UED in the sector, Kerrigan hopes they will weaken themselves battling Mengsk and the Protoss so that the Zerg can easily take over the sector and head for Earth.
